Nine Inch Nails : Ghosts I-IV (2008)
Some of you may remember when I posted the cover for NIN Ghosts a few weeks ago… it’s great stuff - I don’t know how many times I’ve listened to it… and I’ve been trying to figure out how I can interpret instrumental music in my threesixtyfive… I figured for this one I’d base my interpretation on the title of the set.
You can download the first 9 tracks for free using a bittorrent client like uTorrent for Windows.
If you like what you hear, you can buy all 36 tracks for $5, or buy the tracks with a CD to be mailed out later for $10, on the NIN Ghosts site.
And last, but not least, Trent Reznor is hosting a Ghosts Film Festival in conjunction with YouTube, fan created videos using the music from Ghosts. Check some of the entries out…
The best thing? All this was released by Trent under the CC-NC-SA license… which means as long as you aren’t using it for commercial gain, you’re free to use it however you want. Cool shit in my opinion, finally a musician that gets it. Oh, apparently he grossed $1.6 million from the online sales in the first week. Well deserved I say… f*** the RIAA, they haven’t given any of the settlement money they’ve received so far to the artists anyways… rat bastards.
Used my Rusted Panel : 001 texture and the Dirt TTV 1038 texture (god I love that one, thanks again Nesster!) on this…
